A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ADOPTING A
BASIC SALARY PLAN CLASSIFIED SERVICE
AND PART-TIME TEMPORARY)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That attached hereto, incorporated herein by this
reference, marked Exhibits A", B" and C", is a Basic Salary Plan,
adopted pursuant to Section 2250 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code,
relating to positions in the City's employment which are designated and
classed as Classified Service and Part-Time Temporary" positions in such
employ.
SECTION 2. Nothing contained in this Resolution shall be
construed as guaranteeing to any employee or official of the City any
vested interest in any salary or position.
SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or portions thereof, in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall forward a certified copy hereof to the City
Manager, each department head of the City, and the Secretary of the
Personnel Commission.

EXHIBIT A"
BASIC SALARY PLAN
1. The Basic Salary Plan, as contained herein, relates to all
positions in the City's employment which are designated as
Classified Service and Part-Time Temporary" positions in
such employ.
2. The workweek of the City shall begin at 12:01 a.m., on
Sunday and end 168 hours later. Any overtime earned during
a shift which has begun prior to the end of the workweek
shall be included in the prior pay period.
3. The pay periods and times of delivery of payroll checks for
a11 employees shall be set by the City Manager.
4. In the event of a conflict between this Plan and an approved
Memorandum of Understanding, the Memorandum of Understanding
shall take precedence.
