A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FIXING THE
EMPLOYER'S CONTRIBUTION UNDER THE
PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' MEDICAL AND
HOSPITAL CARE ACT
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 22825.6 provides that a local
agency contracting under the Public Employees' Medical and Hospital Care
Act shall fix the amount of the employer's contribution at an amount not
less than the amount required under Section 22825 of the Act; and
WHEAREAS, the City of Baldwin Park is a local agency contracting
under the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the employer's contribution
for each employee or annuitant shall be the amount necessary to pay the full
cost of his enrollment, including the enrollment of his family members, in a
health benefits plan or plans providing base and major medical coverages, or
if less,
Code Bargaining Unit Contribution Per Month
01 Peace Officer Full cost employee/dependents
03 Clerical/Miscellaneous Full cost employee/dependents
10 Executive Full cost employees' single
party premium only.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
