A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING COMMUNITY
BLOCK GRANT COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS AND
CONTRACTS WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park finds a need to participate in
the HCDA Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park will receive HCDA funds as
necessary to accomplish certain permitted activities that benefit the City,
especially the low and moderate income, the elderly and the handicapped
people of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Baldwin Park is authorized to sign all Cooperation Agreements and contracts
with the County of Los Angeles for the accomplishment of the Community Block
Grant Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of August, 1980.
