A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FIXING THE AMOUNT OF
MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1. 1980
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation
upon the taxable property within the City of Baldwin Park as revenue:
a) To carry on the operation of the various departments
of said City, including but not limited to the
Recreation and Parks Department for the fiscal year
commencing July 1, 1980, is the sum of $735,000;
b) To carry out the purposes of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Lighting District for the fiscal year commencing on
July 1, 1980, is the sum of $400,000.
Whereas, the City of Baldwin Park has elected to assume financial
responsibility for services provided City residents by the Consolidated Fire
Protection District and the Los Angeles County Free Library pursuant to Section
43073 a) of the Government Code.
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the amount of money necessary to
be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the City of Baldwin Park,
as set forth in subparagraphs a) and b) above, shall be increased by amounts
equal to the amount of money set by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Los Angeles for the Consolidated Fire Protection District and the Los Angeles
County Free Library for the 1980/81 fiscal year.
Said amounts of money, above described, shall be and hereby are,
imposed upon a11 taxable property located within the boundaries of the City of
Baldwin Park, as the same existed on July 1, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and shall cause the same to be published and posted in the manner
prescribed by law. Immediately upon the adoption of this resolution, the same
shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of Atf^st, 1980.

certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly approved and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park at its regular meeting

AYES: COUNCILMEN HOLMAN, KING, AGUILAR, McNEILL, AND MAYOR WHITE
NOES: COUNCILMEN NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN NONE
