A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE LAND
USE ELEMENT MAP OF THE GENERAL PLAN, AND
CERTIFYING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION
CASE NO. AGP-50)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does resolve as follows:
a) That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the
Planning and Zoning Law Section 65300 et seq. of the
Government Code of the State of California), a proceeding
was commenced for the purpose of considering an amendment
to the Land Use Element of the City's General Plan; and
b) That the Planning Commission conducted a noticed
public hearing on the said amendment; and recommended
certain action on the said amendment; and
c) That the City Council has conducted a noticed
public hearing on said matter; and
d) That the City Council, based upon the evidence
presented, including Staff reports and files, determined
that the public interest, convenience and necessity
required that amendment be approved as hereinafter
described; and
e) That attached hereto, marked Exhibit A",
and. incorporated herein by this reference, is that certain
document, entitled General Plan Amendment AGP-50,"
which contains the amendment to the Land Use Element of
the City's General Plan as described in subsection d)
above.
SECTION 2. That the amendment to the Land Use Element of
the City's General Plan, designated as AGP-50, and as described as
Exhibit A" hereto, be and the same hereby is, approved. The
Director of Community Services shall take all steps necessary to
physically amend the General Plan and copies thereof to reflect the
amendment thereto, as approved by this Resolution.
SECTION 3. That the City Council, at the time of the public
hearing, relating to said General Plan Amendment, considered and
reviewed the Negative Declaration with respect to said General Plan
Amendment. Based upon that siad review, the same Negative Declaration
be, and hereby is certified.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution. J
