A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO FORM A RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION AREA AND
TO ISSUE MORTGAGE REVENUE BONDS FOR SUCH
PURPOSES
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park desires to under-
take a residential rehabilitation program in the City of Baldwin
Park; and
WHEREAS, by the enactment of Part 13, commencing with
Section 32910, of Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code of
the State of California, Marks/Foran) the legislature of the State
has authorized cities to make long-term, low-interest loans to
finance residential rehabilitation, including infill construction,
in order to encourage investment and upgrade the cities, and to issue
bonds for the purpose of financing such residential rehabilitation;
and

WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has determined to
Residential Rehabilitation Finance Program and to
the issuance of Residential Mortgage Revenue Bonds, the

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park declares its intention to form a Residential Rehabilitation Area
and to issue Mortgage Revenue Bonds for such purposes.
SECTION 1. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
