A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMENDING
THE BALDWIN PARK HIGH SCHOOL BRAVES
FOOTBALL TEAM FOR THEIR ATHLETIC
ACCOMPLISHMENT
WHEREAS, the people of Baldwin Park desire that
the accomplishments of youth be justly recognized and
commended 7 and
WHEREAS, athletic accomplishment constitutes one
of the highest and most demanding forms of human endeavor
open to youth; and
WHEREAS, the Baldwin Park High School Braves
Football Team, under the leadership of Head Coach Ty Pagone
and Assistant Coaches Tony Zane, Larry Davis, Ron Mead and Mike
Hunkins, won the Montview League championship and the California
Interscholastic Federation's Desert-Mountain Conference champion-
ship culminating an undefeated season with 13 wins thereby
representing Baldwin Park in an exemplary manner and bringing
honor and acclaim to the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby commend the Baldwin
Park Braves for public service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park expresses, on behalf of the people of
Baldwin Park, its deepest gratitude for the efforts of this
fine organization and wishes it continued success.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
