A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE
CriY CF BAUXEN PARK APPROVING A
DISP06TICN AND DEVELOPMENT AND SALE OF
LAND PUENTE TRUCK SERVICE/CHESTER OTriNG)
WHEREAS, the City Council and Redevelofrnsnt Agency has
published a Notice of Public Hearing under Section 33431, which
identifies the expenditures of public funds through the use, lease,
or sale of lands without public bids; and
WHEREAS, before any property which has been acquired by the
crement monies is sold or leased for development pursuant to the
Redevelopment Plan, such sale or lease shall be first approved by
the legislative body after a public hearing in accordance with
Section 33433; and
WHEREAS, proper notice was given, according to Section
33433, on February 10, February 12, and February 17, 1981 indicating
that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 1981
Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, California; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the cost agreements to the Agency,
including land acquisition costs, clearance costs, relocation
costs and the cost of any iinprovenents to be provided by the Agency,
plus the expected interest on any loans or bonds to finance the
Agreements were included in such documents; and
WHEREAS, the sale of such property will be sold for the
public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Baldwin Park as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby approves the
subject sale and finds that the consideration for such sale is less
than the estimated value determined at the highest use permitted
under the San Gabriel River Redevelqpnent Plan which is necessary
to effectuate the purposes of said Plan.
SECTTCN 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
