A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
HONORING THE CITY OF LA PUENTE
WHEREAS, the City Council and the citizens of
the City of Baldwin Park wish to join residents of neighboring
communities in extending congratulations to La Puente as they
observe the 25th Anniversary of their city's incorporation
July 1-5, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of La Puente are to be
commended for their teamwork and community spirit which are
an inspiration to other cities; and
WHEREAS, the leaders of La Puente have shown
dedication and diligence in serving the local citizens.
They have exhibited responsible citizenship, concern and
caring.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JACK B. WHITE, Mayor of the
City of Baldwin Park, extend our City's best wishes and offer
our congratulations to the City of La Puente on the observance
of their 25th Anniversary. We hope that their upcoming
celebration will be a memorable one for everyone.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this resolution.
