A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE REDEVELOPMENT
SURVEY AREA FOR STUDY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
previously selected, by Resolution No. 81-19, a Redevelopment Survey
Area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park desires
to amend the Redevelopment Survey Area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park desires
that the area hereinafter described be studied to determine if a
redevelopment project within this area is feasible; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that a redevelopment project
be initiated within this area should it be found that such a project is
feasible; and
WHEREAS, Section 33310 of the California Community Redevelopment
Law Health and Safety Code, Sections 33000, et seq.) provides that
redevelopment survey areas may be designated by resolution of the
City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park hereby
designates as a Redevelopment Survey Area that area described in Exhibit
A" and by this reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park hereby
finds that said designated area requires study to determine if a redevelop-
ment project within the area is feasible.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
