A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING WITH THE BALDWIN PARK REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY TO CONSIDER THE PROPOSED MERGER OF THE
SAN GABRIEL RIVER AND WEST RAMONA BOULEVARD
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS AND A NEGATIVE
DECLARATION FOR SAID MERGER
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33355 of the California
Health and Safety Code, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park may
consent to hold a joint public hearing with the Baldwin Park Redevelopment
Agency for the purpose of considering the proposed merger of the San
Gabriel River and West Ramona Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to hold
a joint public hearing with the Redevelopment Agency to consider the
proposed merger and negative declaration on January 6, 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby consent to a joint
public hearing with the Baldwin Park Redevelopment Agency, to consider the
proposed merger and negative declaration for the San Gabriel River
and West Ramona Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area.
SECTION 2. That such joint public hearing be held on
January 6, 1982, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the
Baldwin Park City Hall and that the Executive Director be notified by law
of such public hearings including publication of the legal notices regarding
such hearing.
SECTION 3.
