A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
VACATE THAT PORTION OF MERGED AVENUE, 40 FEET
WIDE, LOCATED SOUTH OF LIVE OAK AVENUE AND
NORTH OF NUBIA AVENUE 82-V-1)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain street
easement as shown in Exhibit A", attached hereto, and described as:
the Westerly 40 feet of Parcel Map 814 in the City
of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 41 Page 60
Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section
8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:30 PM on the 17th day of March,
1982, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at City Halt,
located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing
alt persons interested in order objecting to the proposed vacation as above
described.
SECTION 4. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notices to
be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and
Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published or posted in the
manner prescribed by law.
