peRESOLUTION NO. 82-38
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
VACATE THAT PORTION OF AN ALLEY, WESTERLY
OF N. MAINE AVENUE, NORTH OF OHIO STREET
82-V-3)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby declare its intention to consider the vacation of that certain
street easement as shown in Exhibit A" attached hereto, and described as:
The Northerly 69.50 feet of the Alley described
in the Easement Deed Recorded in Book D 1772,
Page 523 in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue of the provisions of Section
8300 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:00 PM on the 19th day of May,
1982, is hereby fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at City Hail,
located at 14403 East Pacific Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing a11 persons
interested in objecting to the proposed vacation as above described.
SECTION 4. That the Street Superintendent shall cause notice to
be posted in the manner set forth in Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways
Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published or posted in the
manner prescribed by law. /
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st/day of April, 1982
