A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO RESIDENTIAL GARDEN
AGP-56
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
resolve as follows:
a. That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Planning and
Zoning Law Section 65300 et seq. of the Government Code of the
State of California), studies were commenced for the purpose of
amending the Land Use Element of the City's General Plan; and
b. That the Planning Commission has conducted a noticed public
hearing on the proposed amendment to the said Land Use Element,
as hereinafter described; and
c. That the Planning Commission has recommended denial of the said
proposed amendment; and
d. That the City Council has conducted a noticed public hearing on
said recommendations, and has determined that the public interest
requires the approval of AGP-56 to establish a medium residential
density, to wit: R-G zone classification, on the property included
in case AGP-56; and
e. That the change as proposed is consistant with the spirit and
intent of the General Plan; and
f. That the amendment proposed for approval, as above described, is
in the public interest and will promote the general welfare.
SECTION 2. That the amendment to the Land Use Element of the City's
General Plan, as set forth on Exhibit B", attached hereto, and incorporated
herein by this reference be, and the same hereby is approved.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner required by law
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May/,'^19^2.
