A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACATION
OF AN ALLEY, WESTERLY OF N. MAINE AVENUE,
NORTH OF OHIO STREET 82-V-3)
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provision of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park,
did on the 21st day of April, 1982 adopt its Resolution of Intention
No. 82-38, declaring its intention to vacate a certain alley easement
behind 4649 North Maine Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California as described herein; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duty published
and notice of street vacation duly posted, alt in the form, place,
time and manner required by law and all legal requirements have been
met; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated
by said Resolution of Intention, on the 19th day of May, 1982, heard
a11 of the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Northerly 69.50 feet of the alley described
in the Easement Deed recorded in Book D 1772,
Page 523 in the Office of the County Recorder
of the said County.
SECTION 2. That the City hereby reserves a sewer easement
over all of the alley and reserves a utility easement to the General
Telephone Company and Southern California Edison Company over said alley.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify
to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof,
attested by her under the seat of the City to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder, Los Angeles County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19tft day of May, 1982.
