A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING THE ADDITION OF SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS TO THE TAX BILLS
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles is wilting to enter special
assessments, which the County collects on the City's behalf, on the tax
bills for the City of Baldwin Park pursuant to the General Services Agreement
between the City and the County and Government Code Section 51800 and 29304;
and
WHEREAS, under the terms of said Agreement the City of Baldwin
Park wishes the County of Los Angeles to enter the City's special assessments,
which the County collects on the City's behalf, on the tax bills for the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. This City Council does hereby request that the
County enter City special assessments which the County collects on the
City's behalf, on the tax bills for this City.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to
the passage of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof,
attested by her under the seal of the City to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder, Los Angeles County, California.
