A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
VACATE EAST SAN GABRIEL PARKWAY 83-V-1)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby declare its intention to consider
the vacation of that certain street easement as shown in
Exhibit A" attached hereto, and described as:
That certain parcel of land marked East San
Gabriel Parkway", shown on the map of Tract
10735, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 254, Pages 38 and 39 of Maps,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said
County; bounded Westerly by the Northerly pro-
longation of that certain course in the Westerly
line of Lot 4 of said Tract No. 10735 having a
bearing and length of North 0° 09j40" West 108.24;
bounded Northerly by the Easterly prolong-
ation of a line parallel with and 39 feet
Southerly, measured at right angles from the,
straight line in the Northerly boundary of Lot 3
of said Tract 10735.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby elect to proceed under and by virtue
of the provisions of Section 8300 et seq of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 7:00 PM on the 20th
day of April, 1983, is hereby fixed as the time, and the
Council Chamber at City Hall, located at 14403 East Pacific
Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing all
persons interested in the proposed vacation as above described,
SECTION 4- That the Director of Community Services
shall cause notice to be posted in the manner set forth in
Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the same as to be
published or posted in the manner prescribed by law.
