A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK COMMUNITY CRIME
RESISTANCE PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park desires to undertake a
certain project designated as the City of Baldwin Park Community
Crime Resistance Program", to be funded in part from funds made
available through State General Funds as authorized by Chapter 1291
of the 1982 Statutes for the California Community Crime Resistance
Program, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning
hereinafter referred to a OCJP); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of
the City of Baldwin Park is authorized, on its behalf to submit the
attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP
and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Baldwin Park
the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes including any
extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide
all matching funds required for said project i^l^-ding any extension
or amendment thereof) under the Community Crime Resistance Program and
the rules and regulations of OCJP and that cash will be appropriated as
required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder
shall not be used to supplant law enforcment expenditures controlled
by this body.
That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No.83-20was duly and
regularly approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park at its regular meeting of the City Council on the 16th day of March
1983, by the following vote:
