A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE VACATION OF EAST
SAN GABRIEL PARKWAY 83-V-1)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That in accordance with the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941", the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 83-19, declaring
its intention to vacate a certain street referenced as East San
Gabriel Parkway in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as is more particularly described herein; and
b) That said Resolution of Intention was duly published
and the Notice of Street Vacation duly posted, a11 in the form,
place, time and manner required by law and all legal requirements
have been met; and
c) That this City Council, at the hearing designated by
said Resolution of Intention, for the 20th day of April, 1983,
heard a11 evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation;
and
d) That said street is not needed for future or present
public purposes.
SECTION 2. That, based upon the foregoing, the public street
described as follows:
That certain parcel of land marked East San Gabriel
Parkway", shown on the map of Tract 10735, in the City
of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 254, Pages 38 and 39 of Maps,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County; bounded
Westerly by the Northerly protogation of that certain course
in the Westerly tine of Lot 4 of said Tract No. 10735 having
a bearing and length of North 0° 09' 40" West 108.24; bounded
Northerly by the Easterly prolongation of a line parallel
with and 39 feet Southerly, measured at right angles from the
straight tine in the Northerly boundary of Lot 3 of said
Tract 10735, is hereby ordered vacated.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and shall cause the same as to be published or posted in
the manner prescribed by law.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of^rit, 1983.
