A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING FILING OF GRANT APPLICATION
FOR THE CIVIC AUDITORIUM UNDER THE URBAN
PARK AND RECREATION RECOVERY ACT OF 1978
WHEREAS, the Urban Park and Recreation Recovery Act of 1978
established a grant program to assist ccannunities in rehabilitation of
park and recreation systems; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has been determined eligible
to apply for said funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Baldwin Park, California, that the City Manager is authorized and
directed to file this grant application for $600,000, and to provide such
additional information as may be required with respect to the City of
Baldwin Park's participation in this program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this Resolution approved and adopted this 4th day of May,
1983.
