A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION AND PAYMENT
OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE MAINTENANCE
OF SELECT SYSTEM STREETS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:

$59,945
and
SECTION 1. That the County of Los Angeles has appropriated
monies to the City of Baldwin Park as County Aid to Cities;
for Fiscal Year 1982-83 and $59,405 for Fiscal Year 1983-84;
That the City Council desires to expend the
amount of $119,350 of said funds accrued to the City for the maintenance
of streets on the City's approved Select System.
SECTION 2. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to
allocate $119,350 of the aid to Cities funds apportioned to the City for
the maintenance of those streets on the currently approved Select System
of Streets excluding state highways), on file with the Los Angeles
County Road Department, and incorporated herein by reference,; and
After the allocation is approved by the Board of
Supervisors and funds are available, the County is requested to send
such allocated amount to the City. The City win begin using the funds
for street maintenance according to the terms of the allocation.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commissioner for processing.
