A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION
OF AN APPLICATION TO THE U. S. DEPARTMENT OF
COMMERCE, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION, FOR
FUNDING ASSISTANCE UNDER THE EMERGENCY JOBS ACT
P.L. 98-8) PURSUANT TO TITLE I OF THE PUBLIC WORKS
AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1965, AS AMENDED
EXPANSION OF MAINE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park desires to apply for financial assistance pursuant
to Title I, of the Public Works and Economic Development Act
of 1965, as amended.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park has determined that a need exists for such
assistance.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager be authorized to
execute any and all necessary applications and documents on
behalf of the City of Baldwin Park for the purpose of obtaining
financial assistance pursuant to Title I, of the Public Works
and Economic Development Act of 1965, including any extensions
and/or amendments thereof.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 22nd 7d ay of June, 1983.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park at its regular meeting of the City Council on the 22nd day
