HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983 054 CC RESO1983 054 CC RESO(ÌìëZRESOLUTION NO. 83-54 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK CONSENTING TO ESTABLISHMENT OF PORTIONS OF LIVE OAK AVENUE AND ARROW HIGHWAY, WITHIN SAID CITY, AS A PART OF THE SYSTEM OF HIGHWAYS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors did on December 14, 1982, duly adopt a Resolution declaring those portions of Live Oak Avenue from 100 feet east of Rivergrade Road to Maine Avenue and Arrow Highway from 1,300 feet west of Maine Avenue to 400 feet east of Maine Avenue and intersecting streets appurtenant to the construction thereof, within the City of Baldwin Park, as a part of the System of Highways of the County of Los Angeles, a11 as provided in Sections 1700 and 1704 inclusive of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors by said Resolution requested this Council to give its consent to construct improvements and perform appurtenant work within said portions in the City of Baldwin Park described below; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 15080 and 15083 of the State Guidelines, the County conducted an initial study and prepared a Negative Declaration for the proposed improvements. MOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Consent to Inclusion in County Highways System SECTION 1. This City Council does hereby consent to the establish- ment of portions of Live Oak Avenue from 100 feet east of Rivergrade Road to Maine Avenue and Arrow Highway from 1,300 feet west of Maine Avenue to 400 feet east of Maine Avenue and intersecting streets appurtenant to the construction thereof, within the City of Baldwin Park, as a part of the System of Highways of the County of Los Angeles as provided for in Sections 1700 and 1704 inclusive of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. Said consent is for the purpose of constructing improvements and performing appurtenant work as may be necessary by the County of Los Angeles. Approval of Negative Declaration SECTION 2. This City Council does hereby approve the Negative Declaration dated February 11, 1981. Effect on Environment SECTION 3. This City Council does hereby find that: the project has no significant effect on the environment. Finding of a Minor Nature SECTION 4. Should the City Council find that pursuant to Government Code, Section 65402 b), the aforesaid improvement is for street improvements of a minor nature, including the following: This City Council does hereby find that pursuant to Government Code, Section 65402 b), the aforesaid improvement is for street improvements of a minor nature and that, therefore, the provisions of said Section requiring the submission to and report upon said project by the City Planning Division do not apply. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adopt of this Resolution and shall cause the same as to be published or posted in the manner prescribed by law. / APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6tfi da^of July, 1983.
