A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING RESOLUTION 82-98
DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA FOR
STUDY PURPOSES
WHEREAS/ Section 3310 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law Health and Safety Code/ Section 33000/ et
seq.) provides that redevelopment survey areas may be designated
by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Survey Area
designated in Resolution 82-98 be expanded; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
desires that the area hereinafter described be studied to
determine if a redevelopment project within this area is
feasible; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that a redevelopment
project be initiated within this area should it be found that
such a project is feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
hereby designates as a Redevelopment Survey Area that area shown
on Exhibit A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part
hereof,
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
hereby finds that the said designated area requires study to
determine if a redevelopment project within the area is feasible.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution. /
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July, 1983.
